In the Goodyear welted construction, a filler material is inserted between the insole and the outsole in the forefoot area. While cork granules or cork sheets are commonly used as the filler, our company specifically uses a 50:50 blend of cork and shreds of leather—granulated using a dedicated leather shredder.
The heel cup is designed to be compact, and its pronounced carving provides an excellent fit around the heel.
